Cool, not cute

So, I’ve been loving the senior shoots lately. During this one, I found myself saying “cute” after a shot, cause I’m just used to that. I’ll have to remember to say “cool” next time. Or maybe that’s lame. I’m getting old, but I think these shots came out pretty great. My goal was actually for him to look “cool” and not cheesy or lame. So, I hope I succeeded. It was definitely a fun shoot and my subject was a great sport.

This guy is just the sweetest little thing. I LOVE these shots. The kid was well fed cause he peed all over the set (and his parents) TWICE! But it was all worth it. :)

Seniors!

So, I don’t really have a story here. I just think these are adorable. I love my little guys so much! Even when they’re upset, they are cute! hehehe.

This one of Ollie just sends me over the edge. He was so annoyed at me cause I kept taking so many pictures. But I got this awesome expression from him, which makes the crying afterwards TOTALLY worth it! haha. ;) Sorry bud, but your Mom is crazy…and you are CUTE! (Don’t worry…I wouldn’t do this to any other child but my own.)

This sibling group was SO much fun to shoot. Not only did they do whatever I told them to do, they didn’t pick their noses or run away, which is what I’m used to. ha! I wasn’t even winded after this shoot. Amazing. They had these pictures done for their parents as a Christmas gift. How cute is that? Thanks guys…this was one of my favorite days!

If you don’t know, that's the charity event I’ve been doing for two years now, with all the proceeds going to fight against human trafficking. Anyway…here are a few of my favorites. Introducing my photography blog

So, here it is. I have family blog, a personal blog, and now a photography blog. What does that say about me. Amongst other things, it says I am married to a man who writes blogging software. haha.

I’ve been “trying” to get an official photography website up, but it is taking way too long, mostly because I do not know how to create a website, only blogs…LOTS of them, in fact. So, this blog will have my rates and my most recent work on it. I’m still dreaming of my website, but this will have to do for now. I’m not so crazy about the look of this one, so it may go through several changes, but I really have to stop obsessing for now and let it be.

I originally thought I would go through my work and post it all chronologically (cause I have a bit of OCD), but I’m letting that go and will just post shoots randomly. Wow….I know….quite the daredevil I am. Brace yourselves for CRAZINESS! ha.
